Once there was a very small boat;
made of polished dark mahogany
It had to keep itself forever afloat;
habits were a strange homogony
The boat was very small and petty;
and didn’t matter in His design at all
But its fate was written in the jetty;
in a few sentences, dark and small
‘You are hereby destined you old one;
destined to sail to non-existent shores
No other options and choices are none;
all the other paths end on locked doors’
‘Read these words warily, it is your fate;
destined to forever bet on lost causes
Do take it from me and take it straight;
there is only anguish and no applauses’
The boat surely didn’t want this fate;
it’s life was cursed and forever doomed
Distress was certain and was never late;
the horn of disappointment boomed
But still the old boat didn’t lose hope;
and started each journey with faith
Braving the waves, no anchor or rope;
the lonesome ghost, the silent wraith
True there were storms and hard rain;
the boat did not care and moved on
True there was damage and even pain;
the boat always waited for the dawn
Sometimes it saw lights and visions;
smiling with anticipation it rowed on
But the lights were all bitter delusions;
the visions, what its fancy had drawn
Sometimes it heard joyous laughter;
with a hopeful heart, it shouted ‘ahoy!’
Trying to chase the voices, it went after;
but found only silence, no mirth no joy
Well that has been the life of this boat;
the lonely boat that was doomed forever
That has been all the story of this boat;
the same chapters and words, whatsoever

I was thinking of the ungrateful shores and unforgiving cities the boat has visited on it’s travel through life…
Over time…
Facing coldness and unrequited love…
Time and time again…
To eventually be showed it’s way after being drained of its emotional warmth and riches…
To thereafter be discarded and left to the mercy of stormy waters with not a shadow of regret…
And to top it all off the unmistakable holier-than-thou attitude…
Emotional blindness at it best, guided by pretentious standards and ideals…
No matter the cost…
Aaaaaah love…
They so convincingly appear to be claiming to pursue…
They would not recognize it…
Even if it bit them in the ass…
Why bother…
People just can’t handle true love anymore…
Yikes..!!!
But to tell you the truth…
People who can’t appreciate the real deal…
Don’t really deserve it…
Giving precious things to people who cannot appreciate them is like casting pearls before swine.
The only stupid notion is that the person given that love…
Just thinks He/ She is the special one… and God’s gift to this Earth…
While in reality, they are totally oblivious, ignorant and incapable of love…
I pity them..!!!
But I also know…
When it comes to true love…
There is no logic or rhyme to our patience or actions…
When one is in love with someone…
We just can’t help wanting to be there for them…
as well as for our own sake…
Bon Voyage little boat..!!!
Very apt and true but then the boats visit these shores of their own accord, while being fully aware of the consequences. I believe these boats are cursed forever
Being in Love and the Stockholm syndrome are not much different…
As I said…
“No logic or rhyme…”
Most of the times, your intelligence and brilliance are like two sharp Samurai swords, cutting mercilessly with words
You are too kind…
What cuts would a wrapped, tied up, locked away and forgotten old soul really make…
no matter how sharp it might be… 🤷🏻♂
You are too humble…..the old soul rules the hearts of so many including mine
Thanks for Your very kind words…
Now I am just too flushed and taken off guard…
I think I will make a hasty retreat to my HuJra of comfort (zone).

I’m sorry for off-topic, I am considering about creating an enlightening site for individuals. May probably commence with publishing interesting information just like”A B-25 bomber crashed into the 79th floor of the Empire State Building on July 28, 1945.”Please let me know if you know where I can find some related information such as right here
write my speech
I am sorry I do not know any such place. Though i would suggest Ripley’s Believe it or Not
